25. We believe that ministry and membership should abstain from the use of tobacco, intoxicating liquors and narcotics, and should not affiliate with any society which administers oaths or covenants in conflict with the law of God, or which interfere with their duties as freemen and citizens.
We should abstain from anything that could cloud our judgment. Under the influence of these drugs we lose control of our selves. We should also not go against God by joining organizations that conflict God. This goes against the basic commandments of God and Christ.
