Article 23.
We believe a temple will be built in this generation, in Independence, Missouri, wherein Christ will reveal himself and endow his servants whom he chooses with power to preach the gospel in all the world to every kindred, tongue, and people, that the promise of God to Israel may be fulfilled.
Christ said that he would come back to his temple. For that to happen, we have to build it first. This will happen in the near future. The messages several times mention the building of the temple. When the time comes to build it, God will provide the will and the way. For further study read Malachi 3:1, Message 1:2-4, Message 6:1-9, Message 36:7, Message 48:16-20, Message 102:20, and 3 Nephi 16:18.
