James 1:2-6

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Let us have patience in our lives. It is important to remain strong in Christ. Sometimes it is hard for us to understand what the larger plan is, but we have to have faith and patience in Christ. Christ will not leave us alone and will always give us what we need when we need it.

Here are today’s sermon files. Enjoy.

Message 75:11

I leave peace and calmness with you and will come again; be strong and fear not. Some will not accept the words I bring. Let them alone. Some will turn against you and the words I bring; they lose and are not a part of this work to the end. Your brethren will uphold you, for exceeding great joy shall be in their hearts in Christ’s holy work. Amen.

John will return on day and when he does everything will not be rosy and easy. Things will be just has hard after John returns as they are now. Let us know think about John coming back as day that will save us, but let us think about it as a day that will lead us to the end. John’s mission is one of direction and guidance. Let us follow his direction so that we are not left out of the blessing of the Lord.

Message 75:5

Let not division come among you. For the old law and its traditions are finished and is not a part of the gospel of Christ, in its sabbaths and burning of bloods—but forgiveness, humility, and sincerity, in the humble way of the Lord in obedience to the words Christ spoke in his gospel.

We must hold firm on the truth of Christ and his gospel. We cannot add or subtract from it. Christ’s gospel is the foundation of the church, and if we change it the whole thing is will crumble. Let us keep the traditions of man out of our worship and focus instead on Christ.

Message 75:2-3

Lo, you have prayed for my coming and the Lord has heard and sent me. Satan has hindered many times in the past—of my coming. The Lord’s work has suffered much. Satan has shown his iron hand and in vain has sought to have his way—but has caused unrest and no peace, deceiving, deceiving and planting evil seeds. In false prophecy has man been deceived and sin has wrought a work. Let it not be found among you. As I speak to you, I speak to the brethren and the Church. Speak the words I bring, let them be heard. Destroy not the plan of God.

Even though the messenger has not come in the last few years, that does not mean he will not come back. Satan is a powerful adversary. He is fighting harder now than ever because he knows his time is short. John will come back because he said that he would. God is not going to let his church end. Let us look at ourselves and try to see if we are doing anything that might delay his coming.

John 1:1-4

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God is the truth and the truth is God. He is in everything in this world. When people try to change the word, they are removing God and the truth from it. At that point it would just words that don’t mean anything. Let us not remove God from things.

Here are the files from yesterday. There are no files from last week.

Mark 3:35

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Through Christ we are all one family. Let us be kind and loving to each other. Let us help each other when we can. All of God’s children are created equal.

Psalms 18:2-3

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Without God we are weak and hopeless, but with God anything is possible. He will always be there no matter what we do. Let us be reassured that he will always be there for us we need him.

Message 76:8

The Lord’s plan has been decreed and it shall bear fruit. The great perils shall shake mankind and many will inquire of the Lord. Learning wisdom, their idols shall melt away, for the word shall go forth from Zion. Men’s hearts shall be cleansed—being ministered unto by the word of the Lord. The faithful shall stand forth and many shall find salvation with the Lord

As we get closer to the end of times, mankind will wake up and realize that he has been following wrong information. There will be a great multitude that will come to know the truth about God and his plan. His plan will happen according to his will, not ours. Let us find the truth today however, since we never know when the end will come.

Alma 26:8

Blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.

Let us praise God in our lives every day. He will never forsake us or abandon us. Let us always remember him in our lives. Let us always praise him.

Matthew 5:2-12

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

When we are having difficulties in life, God is always there. He gives us strength when we need and support when we are week. Life is hard, but with God’s help we will receive our just rewarded.

As we celebrate Martin Luther King Day today let us remember that Christ loves all people. We are all the Children of God, no matter what color, race, or sex we are. God loves us all. We also need to remember to do that same. We should have no bias toward people at all. We are all the same, we all deserve Christ’s teachings.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

There is only on God, One sprit, and One way. That way is the only way to have guaranteed salvation. Follow the plan, don’t let Satan trick you into following him.

Message 49:8-9

Let the work continue in all parts, many are coming to do the Lord’s will. Let all be up and doing for their responsibility is to represent Christ and his Church. Those that would be his bride must come in by the door and be baptized. Let the hands be laid on all that the Lord will confirm their work by the Holy Ghost. There are many that have long represented Christ. Those that will hear his voice in very deed will come into the Church of Christ that is again being established with all its gifts and blessings, and represent Christ and his Church.

When you hear about the Elijah message, you need to act on it. When we learn something new and don’t act on we are worse off than we were before even though we might be doing the same thing as before. As you learn and understand the truthfulness of this gospel and message, we need to act on it. This includes being baptized into the Church of Christ with the Elijah Message.

3rd Nephi 9-13

Verily I say unto you, that ye are built upon my gospel; therefore ye shall call whatsoever things ye do call, in my name; therefore if ye call upon the Father, for the church, if it be in my name the Father will hear you; And if it so be that the church is built upon my gospel then will the Father show forth his own works in it. But if it be not built upon my gospel, and is built upon the works of men, or upon the works of the devil, verily I say unto you they have joy in their works for a season, and by and by the end cometh, and they are hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence there is no return. For their works do follow them, for it is because of their works that they are hewn down; therefore remember the things that I have told you. Behold I have given unto you my gospel, and this is the gospel which I have given unto you—that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me.

When you are looking for a church, you need to pray and study to find the truth. There are several churches out there that say they are the true church, but only one can be 100% true. When you are learning and listing to the preaching, see if it matches the scriptures completely. Only Christ’s true church will match 100%. If there is anything added or missing that church is not of Christ. That does not mean that there are not God fearing people in that church trying their best, but it means that they are not following the truth completely. Please study and pray and God will give you your answer.

Here are the sermon files for the last two weeks. Sorry for the delay.

Message  53:3

Give ear, Oh ye people of the earth. Hear the warning today. I speak the words and will of the Lord. Let all have faith. Turn to the Lord and obey his commands. Heed repentance and baptism that the way of the Lord shall be among men; his Kingdom shall fill the whole earth. The hands must be laid upon all that the greater light might come to them.

Repentance and baptism is the only way to be close to the Lord. There will be many people who listen and are bless, make sure that you are one of them. It is important that follow God’s plan.

James 4:14-17

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Since we never know what is going to happen tomorrow we need to prepare ourselves today to meet God. As we learn about Christ and his teachings we need to start following them. To know about the teachings, and not follow them will only lead to our heartache. As we learn about Christ’s teachings we need to start following them today, not tomorrow.
