Acts 10:42-43

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Only though Christ can your sins are forgiven. We must believe on him and follow his gospel. This starts with baptism. All we have to do is believe and then act on that belief. It is not complicated or hard.

    My Brother you are so right. We must believe in Christ and follow His commandments. We must obey His will. God will not change His word to fit us. He said that He is the same today yesturday and forever.Matt.10: And he that taketh not his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
