Romans 1:20-25

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Don’t let yourself get caught up in the act of praising God that you forget why you are doing it. It is important to remember to stay humble and honest to yourself and to God. There are many people in the world today to talk a great story and seem to be close with God, but who do it for the fame and fortune.  Remember to stay true to God and to yourself.

Romans 6:10-14

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Once we have been baptized and our sin has been left behind. It is important for us to not to go back to the way we were. Sin will not have any more control over us if we follow and trust Jesus. Many people think that they have to clean themselves up before coming to Christ, but this is thinking of the Devil. Christ will take us any way we are. He will make us clean and help us stay that way.

Romans 6:1-9

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

When we are baptized we burry our old self and rise up a new person. We come up clean and renewed.  Our old sinful ways die in the water. Are you ready to be clean? If so let us know.

Here are today’s sermon files.  I hope that you enjoy them.

Just a few quick thoughts today. It is amazing how the Lord works in our lives. We pray and pray for something that we need in our lives. Opportunity after opportunity to give us what we want fails to materializes we can start to get frustrated and disenchanted with God. But we have to stay patient and humble before God, because his plan is the right one. If we keep praying and trusting in him, what we need will always come when we need it.  And when he does answer our prayers, it will be better that what we would have planed. God works in powerful ways, lets give him the chance to do it.

Psalms 145:1-5

David’s Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

Let us praise the Lord each and every day. We should have to love for the Lord in our heart gushing out. He has and will continue to do wonderful things in our lives and in this world.  Let us be thankful.

HELAMAN 3:24-30

And it came to pass that in this same year there was exceeding great prosperity in the church, insomuch that there were thousands who did join themselves unto the church and were baptized unto repentance. And so great was the prosperity of the church, and so many the blessings which were poured out upon the people, that even the high priests and the teachers were themselves astonished beyond measure. And it came to pass that the work of the Lord did prosper unto the baptizing and uniting to the church of God, many souls, yea, even tens of thousands. Thus we may see that the Lord is merciful unto all who will, in the sincerity of their hearts, call upon his holy name. Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, which is the Son of God. Yea, we see that whosoever will lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked— And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out.

Christ has blessed his church in the past with great blessings and large growth, and he will do it again. Christ is true to his word, if we stay focused on him and walk on the straight and narrow path, we will receive so many blessings that it will be hard to believe. I can’t wait for the to happen again but in our day in age.

Message 59:4

I cried repentance in the days that are past, my message is repentance today. Let all men repent of their sins and selfish ways, for sin cannot receive the glory of God nor the power of the Lamb slain. Except they repent they cannot be redeemed from that awful state. For the Lord has prepared the way of redemption and he has spoken. It is Christ’s words that shall judge all men, therefore, he cannot use man of his own way, for man’s heart is filled with selfishness.

God has put together a great plan for our salvation. It is up to us to follow it. There key points are repentance, baptism and follow Christ. We must repent of our sins that we, ourselves, have committed. After that we must be baptized by one having the authority to do so. We then follow Christ’s teachings in our daily lives. We cannot follow the teaching of a man for we will be judge against Christ’s. I challenge you to look at your life and see where you are in the plan. If you need to repent and be baptized, then let do it. If you have been baptized how well are you following the instructions that we have?
