Helaman 14:17-19
But behold, the resurrection of Christ redeemeth mankind, yea, even all mankind, and bringeth them back into the presence of the Lord. Yea, and it bringeth to pass the condition of repentance, that whosoever repenteth the same is not hewn down and cast into the fire; but whosoever repenteth not is hewn down and cast into the fire; and there cometh upon them again a spiritual death, yea, a second death, for they are cut off again as to things pertaining to righteousness. Therefore repent ye, repent ye, lest by knowing these things and not doing them ye shall suffer yourselves.
The simple truth is hard to ignore. Christ’s death and resurrection provided us with a way for salvation. Now it is up to us to act upon it. What are you going to do?

2 Timothy 3:1-7
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
This is very apparent today in our world. There are lots of people who have all kinds of sinful ways about them that talk about loving and serving God. I know that no one is perfect, but we cannot deny the God’s truth. There are those that deny his truth even though they say they follow Christ. We cannot be like that we must not fall into the traps.

Message 97:3
The authority is given that this work move on and salvation be preached in and through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, his resurrection and eternal living: his coming again to reign with mankind.
Only through the blood of Christ can we receive eternal salvation. Christ’s authority is on this earth preaching repentance. Will you listen to those who represent him, or are you going to follow someone who only does what they want to do? The is only one Christ and only one authority.

Alma 7:13-16
Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me. Now I say unto you that ye must repent, and be born again; for the Spirit saith if ye are not born again ye cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye may be washed from your sins, that ye may have faith on the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world, which is mighty to save and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. Yea, I say unto you come and fear not, and lay aside every sin, which easily doth beset you, which doth bind you down to destruction, yea, come and go forth, and show unto your God that ye are willing to repent of your sins and enter into a covenant with him to keep his commandments, and witness it unto him this day by going into the waters of baptism. And whosoever doeth this, and keepeth the commandments of God from henceforth, the same will remember that I say unto him, yea, he will remember that I have said unto him, he shall have eternal life, according to the testimony of the Holy Spirit, which testifieth in me
Will you follow these simple instructions from Christ? Will you clean yourself from the sin that around you? If you want to act on any of these instructions and save yourself from destruction let us know at contact@elijahmessage.net

2 Timothy 2:22-26
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
We need to put the ways of man behind us when we turn to the Lord. We must try to have the qualities that Christ wants us to have. These include but are not limited to gentleness, patience, righteousness, faith, charity, peace and meekness. This must be our main focus, not the ways of the world.

Message 96:14
The work will become very heavy in the office and headquarters records and preparing materials to help those that inquire and come to this work. Let more prepare to help in this, that all things may be kept in order and carried on.
This is true today. The word is spreading very fast about the truth and there is a lot of work to be done. Everyone should be preparing to do their part. Only through Christ are we able to keep the message going out to the world. Are you willing and able to do your part?

Mark 1:16-18
Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
Working for God does not pay well in eyes of the world, but the benefits and deferred payment of everlasting life in heaven is worth it. No amount of money, praise, or positions will help you serve God. We need to look at ourselves and ask are we doing all that we can, are we fisher of men?

Message 96:3
Trials will come and greater grief to the slothful and those that will not work in their place and calling. Let it not be so with you. As I speak to you, I speak to all. Take courage for greater works are before you and those that are with you in this work. You have done the Lord’s bidding; shrink not from your work. The Church is established; keep it so.
There are times when it is hard to follow Christ and do his work. The devil is always trying to pull us away from God. These trials will come and go, but we must hold firm on the truth. We must keep up our work for the Lord. We have a responsibility that we have to up hold.

Matthew 15:10-11
And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
People get caught up into the traditions of man. What matters to God is our actions. If we follow his teachings we will not do anything that defiles us. If we start following the teachings of man about how to say things or what can and cannot do certain days of the week, we defile ourselves before God.

Message 95:13
Many shall be touched by the Lord’s Spirit. Many will soften and hear this way, adding to their good works this authority and trust. To all such their works may stand the test in the end.
There will be many people who will come to the Lord. The out pouring of his spirit will be overwhelming and people will head the call. It will be such a blessing to the people who join as well as to the people already in the Church. For those who join Christ’s church, there good works will last and they will receive their reward in heaven.

Jacob 5:70-77
And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard sent his servant; and the servant went and did as the Lord had commanded him, and brought other servants; and they were few. And the Lord of the vineyard saith unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your mights. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your mights with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come. And it came to pass that the servants did go to it, and labor with their mights; and the Lord of the vineyard labored also with them; and they did obey the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard in all things. And there began to be the natural fruit again in the vineyard; and the natural branches began to grow and thrive exceedingly; and the wild branches began to be plucked off and to be cast away; and they did keep the root and the top thereof equal, according to the strength thereof. And thus they labored, with all diligence, according to the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard, even until the bad had been cast away out of the vineyard, and the Lord preserved unto himself that the trees had become again the natural fruit; and they became like unto one body; and the fruit were equal; and the Lord of the vineyard had preserved unto himself the natural fruit, which was most precious unto him from the beginning. And it came to pass that when the Lord of the vineyard saw that his fruit was good, and that his vineyard was no more corrupt, he calleth up his servants, and sayeth unto them: Behold, for this last time have we nourished my vineyard; and thou beholdest that I have done according to my will; and I have preserved the natural fruit, that it is good, even like as it was in the beginning. And blessed art thou; for because that ye have been diligent in laboring with me in my vineyard, and have kept my commandments, and hath brought unto me again the natural fruit, that my vineyard is no more corrupted, and the bad is cast away, behold ye shall have joy with me because of the fruit of my vineyard. For behold, for a long time will I lay up of the fruit of my vineyard unto mine own self against the season, which speedily cometh; and for the last time have I nourished my vineyard, and pruned it, and dug about it, and dunged it; wherefore I will lay up unto mine own self of the fruit, for a long time, according to that which I have spoken. And when the time cometh that evil fruit shall again come into my vineyard, then will I cause the good and the bad to be gathered; and the good will I preserve unto myself, and the bad will I cast away into its own place. And then cometh the season and the end; and my vineyard will I cause to be burned with fire.
The vineyard in this story is the earth. The servants are the people who work for Christ. Christ is sending out his ministry into the world to spread the truth. When the time comes there will only be two options, good fruit and bad fruit. I hope that you are a good fruit.

Revelation 10:1-11
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
This little book is the Word of the Lord. When people hear about it they are excited that God is sending his messenger as promised. This is the sweet part. Then they read it and find out that traditions of man do not please God. This is the bitter part. People don’t want to change for Christ, but that is what we have to do to follow him. We must shed our sinful ways and strive to be like Christ. I know it difficult, but with the help of Christ it is possible.

Message 95: 2
He has heard the prayers of the faithful and with his warm and consoling Spirit will comfort and heal every whit, even unto the uttermost.
The Spirit that comes from Christ is comforting. If you open your heart up to Christ, he will come in and fill it full. There is no place that his spirit will not reach if we only follow his teachings.

Colossians 2:12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
When we are baptized we start anew. The part of us left in the water and rise a new person alive like never before. Christ triumphed over evil by rising on the third day. We can do the same with him by being baptized.

3rd Nephi18:12-18
And I give unto you a commandment that ye shall do these things. And if ye shall always do these things blessed are ye, for ye are built upon my rock. But whoso among you shall do more or less than these are not built upon my rock, but are built upon a sandy foundation; and when the rain descends, and the floods come, and the winds blow, and beat upon them, they shall fall, and the gates of hell is already open to receive them. Therefore blessed are ye if ye shall keep my commandments, which the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always, lest ye be tempted by the devil, and ye are led away captive by him. And as I have prayed among you even so shall ye pray in my church, among my people which do repent and are baptized in my name. Behold I am the light; I have set an example for you. And it came to pass that when Jesus had spake these words unto his disciples, he turned again unto the multitude and saith unto them: Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always lest ye enter into temptation; for Satan desireth to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.
If we don’t stand on the foundation of Christ we will be blown away from him. He gave a warning to the ministry about his teachings. Sacraments are a closed sacrament that can only be taken by members who are baptized into Christ’s Church. We cannot change how we perform sacrament or who we give it to. We must always follow Christ’s teachings.

3rd Nephi 18:1-11
And it came to pass that Jesus commanded his disciples that they should bring forth some bread and wine unto him. And while they were gone for the bread and wine, he commanded the multitude that they should sit themselves down upon the earth. And when the disciples had come with the bread and wine, he took of the bread and brake and blessed it; and he gave unto the disciples and commanded that they should eat. And when they had eat and were filled, he commanded that they should give unto the multitude. And when the multitude had eaten and were filled, he saith unto the disciples: Behold there shall one be ordained among you, and to him will I give power that he shall break bread and bless it and give it unto the people of my church, unto all they which shall believe and be baptized in my name. And this shall ye always observe to do, even as I have done, even as I have broken bread and blessed it and gave it unto you. And this shall ye do in remembrance of my body, which I have shown unto you. And it shall be a testimony unto the Father that ye do always ways remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you. And it came to pass that when he had said these words, he commanded his disciples that they should take of the wine of the cup and drink of it, and that they should also give unto the multitude that they might drink of it. And it came to pass that they did so, and did drink of it and were filled; and they gave unto the multitude, and they did drink, and they were filled. And when the disciples had done this, Jesus saith unto them: Blessed are ye for this thing which ye have done, for this is fulfilling my commandments, and this doth witness unto the Father that ye are willing to do that which I have commanded you. And this shall ye always do unto those who repent and are baptized in my name; and ye shall do it in remembrance of my blood, which I have shed for you, that ye may witness unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you.
Christ gave us the instructions on how to perform sacrament. Only the ministry can perform the sacraments. When performed correctly the spirit will come and fill each person with Christ’s love and comfort.

Message 94:2-3
I bring the authority to prepare the way before the Lord’s soon coming; before this generation all pass away. Fear not, the Lord is doing a marvelous work and a wonder and the powers of evil shall lose in the end.
John is bringing the authority from God for us to do the Lords work. He promises us that that the Lord will soon come. We should be comforted by that fact. Work that the Lord is doing is great and larger than anyone of us can see with our eyes. I hope and pray that we all can just do our part and feel the love that comes with the peace of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 6:18
But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!
God is too great to stay in heaven. He does come down and dwell in us. He sends in Holy Spirit to us to give us comfort and direction. Let us be thankful that God is always here.
