Message 74:6
Fear not those who speak lightly of my coming for I come as the Lord commands. In days of old, there were those who said the Lord spoke not through Moses, through the prophets and through the Christ who walked among men. Nevertheless, the Lord has spoken, and speaks now as I come and his Church is set up among men. It shall continue on to prepare the bride until the Lord comes to reign on earth, when the powers of Satan are cast out and subdued, for the millennium reign of peace among mankind. All of those that doubt and reject will not be there.

Satan does a good job at pulling people away from the truth. Just because the truth does not go along the popular belief does not mean out is not the truth. In fact usually the truth is not popular at all.

Acts 11:15-16

And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

After baptism comes the Holy Ghost. This is a great gift from God to us to help us in our daily lives. It is a comforter in our times of sorrow. It is helper in our times of confusion. It is nice to have around.

Message 99:5-6

The long planning and covenant of God shall have its fulfillment. His Kingdom shall roll forth until it fills the whole earth and all mankind shall obey his will. I speak light and life, will they hear it?

God has a plan. His plan entails his gospel spreading too all the ends of the earth. It will reach every spot. People will listen and follow the truth. The question is will you be one of the ones that listen or will you be one of the ones that don’t?

Mosiah 40:11-14

Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—Behold, it hath been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life. And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those which are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles, and from all care, and sorrow, etc. And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of the wicked, yea, which are evil—for behold, they have no part nor portion of the Spirit of the Lord; for behold, they chose evil works rather than good; therefore the spirit of the devil did enter into them, and take possession of their house—and these shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth, and this because of their own iniquity, being led captive by the will of the devil.

Now this is the state of the souls of the wicked, yea, in darkness, and a state of awful, fearful looking for of the fiery indignation of the wrath of God upon them; thus they remain in this state, as well as the righteous in paradise, until the time of their resurrection.

Once our time on this earth is over, our fate for eternity is sealed. We cannot change where we spend eternal life after we die. So make the most of the time you have not and find salvation. You only get one life.

Message 94: 7

Let the work continue in all parts. Preserve the good and release the evil and those planning iniquity.

We must keep working for the Lord. When people come through our lives that are not of God we need to make sure they don’t stay long. This goes for the Church as well. If there are those that are spreading evil they should be removed if they don’t repent and change their ways.
