3rd Nephi 15:1-9
And now it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he cast his eyes round about on the multitude, and saith unto them: Behold, ye have heard these things which I have taught before I ascended to my Father; therefore, whoso remembereth these sayings of mine and doeth them, him will I raise up at the last day. And it came to pass that when Jesus had said these words he perceived that there were some among them which marveled, and wondered what he would concerning the law of Moses; for they understood not the saying that old things had passed away, and that all things had become knew. And he saith unto them: Marvel not that I said unto you that old things had passed away, and that all things had become new. Behold, I say unto you that the law is fulfilled that was given unto Moses. Behold, I am he that gave the law, and I am he which covenanted with my people Israel; therefore, the law in me is fulfilled, for I have come to fulfill the law; therefore it hath an end. Behold, I do not destroy the prophets, for as many as have not been fulfilled in me, verily I say unto you, shall all be fulfilled. And because I said unto you that old things hath passed away, I do not destroy that which hath been spoken concerning things which is to come. For behold, the covenant which I have made with my people is not all fulfilled; but the law which was given unto Moses hath an end in me. Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end, will I give eternal life.
The Law of Moses is complete. We no longer have to worry about all the old way of doing things. Through Christ we no longer have to follow the Law. This is a great thing, in that now we have a much clear way to salvation. That way is through Christ and his teachings.

Message 31:9
Ye that name my name give thanks unto your Master; in so doing I will bless you that you will be a blessing, and bless others. Let my Spirit rule your lives. Be ye longsuffering. Be not as sounding brass and tinkling cymbal. Be filled with charity and let peace rule your minds and your lives. The fire of joy shall burn within you. Yea, the Lord will walk and talk with those that keep his law in fullness. Seek not the praise of men. Be not heady nor highminded. Seek to do good. A good tree cannot bear corrupt fruit, nor a corrupt tree, good fruit.
We must stay true to the word of God and allow him to shine through our actions. There will come a day when we are asked about the stuff we did and how we lived our lives. To be ready for that day we must act according to God’s wishes today. There is not time like the present to start.

1 Chronicles 16:34-36
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
We should be thankful for everything in our lives, but must important we should be thankful for our salvation. Only through Christ can we attain true salvation. To show our thanks we need to praise God and worship him. This means that we must follow his commandments and live in a way that honors him.

Message 1:4
He said, “The temple will be built, if not by the people in charge, the Lord will raise up a people that will build it.”
Only people who follow Christ and keep his commandments will be able to build the temple. Christ was a tried and chosen people. We must follow him to help him do his work.

Matthew 18:3-4
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
When we come to Christ, we have to humble ourselves. If we realize that we are just a small part of a much larger plan, we will receive great blessings. If we don’t let go of our ego or pride, we are unable receive Christ’ salvation into the kingdom of heaven.

Message 76:8
The Lord’s plan has been decreed and it shall bear fruit. The great perils shall shake mankind and many will inquire of the Lord. Learning wisdom, their idols shall melt away, for the word shall go forth from Zion. Men’s hearts shall be cleansed—being ministered unto by the word of the Lord. The faithful shall stand forth and many shall find salvation with the Lord
As we get closer to the end of times, mankind will wake up and realize that he has been following wrong information. There will be a great multitude that will come to know the truth about God and his plan. His plan will happen according to his will, not ours. Let us find the truth today however, since we never know when the end will come.

Matthew 6:24-34
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Our salvation is the most important thing that we can look for on this earth. Let us not worry about earthly thing and focus on our salvation. If this is our main focus, then the rest will fall into place.

3rd Nephi 24:1-3
And it came to pass that he commanded them that they should write the words which the Father had given unto Malachi, which he should tell unto them. And it came to pass that after they were written he expounded them. And these are the words which he did tell unto them, saying: Thus said the Father unto Malachi—Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in; behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming, and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
Christ is telling us about the messenger that will come and prepare this world for his second coming. Only through the messenger will we be able put ourselves into a position for the return of Christ. We can be thankful that this messenger does come and will return with instructions from Christ to his Church.

Message 63:2
The pruning has begun and shall be for man must know the full plan and obey that they may bring forth much fruit, and that of the Spirit of the Lord.
The time of cleansing has started. We must remember to follow the Lord and obey him if we want to be counted as one of his own. Study and stay humble and we will be blessed.

Matthew 8:1-4
When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
With just a little faith this man was healed from him horrible ailment. Good acts the same in our lives the same way. With just a little faith he cures us for our sins and other ailments that we might suffer. Let us be thankful the he cares as much as he does.

Message 54:4
Speak not lightly of the things I have told you, but tell the truth. Remember, Satan will tempt you and cause you to fall if you would. Let it not be so with you.
Let us not forget what we believe. It is very important that we live the teachings of Christ in our daily lives, but also not shy away from talking about them. Satan is a very powerful being who wants us to fall away from God any way possible. As the famous quote says “the truth shall set you free.”

With today being the day after a big elections here in the United States, it is easy to rest our hopes and dreams on a man who leads our government. The problem with this is though that this man can not do anything for us or our salvation. We can rest our hope and dreams on a man, but that man died for us 2000 years ago. Only Christ will deliver us, not a president or any other official. Only Christ. So no matter what you think about the outcome of this election or any other, remember that it does not matter. As long as we have Christ we have salvation.

Message 74: 4
False prophets will arise. False proclaims will be made. Evil will grow worse and worse among the ungodly. Hearts will be sad until few will have faith in the gospel of Christ. Mockery shall be among men, but the truth shall go on to its mission.
We cannot lose the truth. No matter whom come and talks about Christ we must compared their words to Christ’s. Only the truth is what we should believe, not false prophets who words sound nice in our ears. It is up to you.

Matthew 25:31-34
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
After all the trials and tribulations there will be peace. The righteous will spend eternity in heaven with Christ and our Lord God. This is our end reward. This is why we are to follow his commandments and suffer trials and tribulations. This will happen, will you be prepared?
