Mormon 3: 20-22

And these things do the Spirit manifest unto me; therefore I write unto you all. And for this cause I write unto you, that ye may know that ye must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, yea, every soul which belong to the whole human family of Adam; and ye must stand to be judged of your works, whether they be good or evil; And also that ye may believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, which ye shall have among you; and also that the Jews, the covenant people of the Lord, shall have other witness besides that which they saw and heard, that Jesus, whom they slew, was the very Christ and the very God. And I would that I could persuade all ye ends of the earth to repent and prepare to stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

We will all be judge of our own works. Every person will be judged, no one will be left out. I hope and pray that you find Christ before your time is up. Only through Christ will we be able to attain everlasting life in heaven.

Message 25:7

There are those that doubt the message, and are discouraged, but if they will keep the commandments of the Lord, their reward is sure. There are those that are filled with traditions of men, and are deprived of many blessings. There are those that are a law unto themselves, they have no part in this work, for the Lord will not accept of them and their works.

To fully receive the blessing of the Lord we need to follow only his commandments. We cannot pick a chose which ones we want to follow. We have to believe all the words of God. This includes the Bible, the Word of the Lord, and the Record of the Nephites. Will you believe and follow the truth or will you be left in darkness?

Message 92:5-6

Where is that great love and the Spirit that mellows the heart, is it still among you? I say unto you, yea, let it do greater work. Qualify to be leaders of men. Do good to all mankind. Love always, hate and bitterness is not your mission. He that loveth the brethren, loveth God also. The Lord will uphold him and make him a blessing.

Love is our mission. We are supposed to have it in everything that we do. If someone if full of bitterness and hate they are not of God.

Helaman 4:12-13

And it was because of the pride of their hearts, because of their exceeding riches, yea, it was because of their oppression to the poor, withholding their food from the hungry, withholding their clothing from the naked, and smiting their humble brethren upon the cheek, making a mock of that which was sacred, denying the spirit of prophecy and of revelation, murdering, plundering, lying, stealing, committing adultery, raising up in great contentions, and deserting away into the land of Nephi, among the Lamanites— And because of this their great wickedness, and their boastings in their own strength, they were left in their own strength; therefore they did not prosper, but were afflicted and smitten, and driven before the Lamanites, until they had lost possession of almost all their lands.

As go through our lives we must remember to take care of those who need our help. We cannot think that possessions and money is what defines us. It is what we do with that stuff that defines us. What do you do with your blessing, keep them or share them?

Message 57:12

The Lord will comfort all that come unto him, therefore be not troubled but lift up and rejoice, even all. Fail not lest the Lord turn to others; be overcomers in all things for Satan seeks to set thee at variance one with another. Let it not be so.

The Lord will be there for us. We are supposed to love each other and treat each other with respect. Satan tries to work into our lives bitter contention that will tear us apart and away from God. Don’t let this happen to you. Let us praise the Lord and the peace that he brings

Message 74:4

False prophets will arise. False proclaims will be made. Evil will grow worse and worse among the ungodly. Hearts will be sad until few will have faith in the gospel of Christ. Mockery shall be among men, but the truth shall go on to its mission.

There is only on truth. There are many out there that say they have received messages from God. If the message does not 100% agree with what we already have, it is wrong. No questions asked. Only God words can be used as a yard stick and they always must agree. So next time you hear that someone has received something from God, compare it to what we already have. If it matches that is great, if not you need to leave it at the door.

John 14:5-7

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus is the only way to God. With our we would be lost forever. With him we are found. Are you found?

Alma 37:30-31

For behold, they murdered all the prophets of the Lord which came among them to declare unto them concerning their iniquities; and the blood of those which they murdered did cry unto the Lord their God for vengeance upon those which were their murderers; and thus the judgments of God did come upon these workers of darkness and secret combinations. Yea, and cursed be the land forever and ever unto those workers of darkness and secret combinations, even unto destruction, except they repent before they are fully ripe.

If we turn away from God we know that we will pay for it with both our soul and with the pain that we suffer here on earth. Sometimes it looks like the people who turn away from God have a great life, but there is an emptiness that only God can fill. Also when the time comes to stand before him during judgment those people will be very sad with the outcome. On the bright side though, there is always the possibility that these people will come to Christ. We cannot give up on them.

Philippians 1:21

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

If we lose everything for Christ, we gain everything. Only Christ can give us what we really need and want.

Alma 36:1

My son, give ear to my words; for I swear unto you, that inasmuch as ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall prosper in the land.

If we are obedient to the Lord we will be blessed. This does not mean that we will be rich, but we will always have what we need. God loves a people who follow his commandments and when this happens he rewards them with prosperity. If we want to get a head, we first need to follow Christ

Matthew 17:10-13
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
Once again we Jesus talks about how John is the Messenger that is promised to come. He also says that he will restore all things. At this time, there was nothing to restore since Jesus was establishing his church.  That means John must come at a latter date to restore things to the truth. That day is today.
