II Nephi 18:18-22
.
18.  Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
19.  And when they shall say unto you:  Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep and mutter–should not a people seek unto their God for the living to hear from the dead?
20.  To the law and to the testimony; and if they speak not according to this word, it is because there in no light in them.
21.  And they shall pass through it hardly bestead and hungry, and it shall come to pass that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
22.  And they shall look unto the earth and behold trouble, and darkness, dimness of anguish, and shall be driven to darkness.

Jacob 2:4-5
.
4.  For behold, as yet, ye have been obedient unto the word of the Lord, which I have given unto you.
5.  But behold, hearken ye unto me, and know that by the help of the all-powerful Creator of heaven and earth I can tell you concerning your thoughts, how that ye are beginning to labor in sin, which sin appeareth very abominable unto me, yea, and abominable unto God.

Hebrews 4:12-13

12.  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing assunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Alma 11:21-25

21.  And this Zeezrom began to question Amulek, saying :  Will ye answer me a few questions which I shall ask you?  Now Zeezrom was a man which was expert in the devices of the devil, that he might destroy that which was good; therefore, he saith unto Amulek:  Will ye answer the questions which I shall put unto you?
22.  And Amulek saith unto him: Yea, if it be according to the Spirit of the Lord, which is in me; for I shall say nothing contrary to the Spirit of the Lord.  And Zeezrom saith unto him:  Behold, here is six onties of silver, and all these will I give thee if thou wilt deny the existence of a Supreme Being.
23.  Now Amulek saith: O thou child of hell, why tempt ye me?  Knowest thou that the righteous yieldeth to no such temptations?
24.  Believest thou that there is no God? I say unto you, Nay, you knowest that there is a God, but thou lovest that lucre more than him.
25.  And now thou hast lied before God unto me.  Thou saidst unto me–Behold these six onties, which are of great worth, I will give unto thee–when thou had in thy heart to retain them from me; and it was only thy desire that I should deny the true and living God, that thou mightest have cause to destroy me.  And now behold, for this great evil thou shalt have thy reward.

Helaman 3:28-30
.
28.  Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, which is the Son of God.
29.  Yea, we see that whosoever will lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked.
30.  And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out.

Helaman 4:24-26
.
24.  And they saw that they had become weak, like unto their brethren, the Lamanites, and that the Spirit of the Lord did no more preserve them; yea, it had withdrawn from them because the Spirit of the Lord doth not dwell in unholy temples–
25.  Therefore the Lord did cease to preserve them by his miraculous and matchless power, for they had fallen into a state of unbelief and awful wickedness; and they saw that the Lamanites were more exceeding numerous than they, and except they should cleave unto the Lord their God they must unavoidably perish.
26.  For behold, they saw that the strength of the Lamanites was as great as their strength, even man for man.  And thus had they fallen into this great transgression; yes, thus had they become weak, because of their transgression, in the space of not many years.

8.  Teach the law of the Lord that the millennium may come, for great shall be the joy in heaven and angels shall sing aloud at that day.  Hearken!  The Lord has chosen his servants to proclaim the message.  Then hasten, and do not delay his work.  The Lord will bless you that labor, and the people you shall labor among, for your sake.  Labor in love; be harsh with no one; qualify to be leaders; go to the rich and poor alike.  Be not puffed up; be humble, and inasmuch as you will do this God will be with you.

Revalations 20:4-6
.
4.  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished, This is the first resurrection.
6.  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
