Message 48:15
Be ye comforted one and all; let not your hearts be troubled. The Lord is mindful and he knoweth the desires of each heart. He will bless you and cause that you may have great joy, all ye that obey his will, for in him is salvation.
Let the peace of the Lord fill your heart. No matter what is going on in your life, the Lord will give you what you need. The biggest gift that Christ gives us is our salvation. We might not be able to see it now, but in the end it will be worth it.
Luke 21:1-4
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
It is not how much total that we give to the Lord that matters, it is how hard it is to give what we give that matters. We cannot compare dollars to dollars to others. Money is not the only thing that we to give. Time is also an important thing that we need to give to the Lord. Each of has to give what we can. Are you giving enough?
Message46:3
To all those that repent of sins and be baptized, preparing themselves in deep humility, yea, the Lord promises that they shall receive the greater light and power that they might be able to carry on the work of the Lord.
It is never too late to come to the Lord. You will be blessed with the power of the Lord. Why wait to receive this great gift?
Galatians 4:4-7
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Christ was sent by God to give us an away to be closer to God. God also sent his spirit so that we can have him in our hearts all the time. Let us be thankful for the gifts that God has sent us.
