Helaman 27:19-22
And no unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood, because of their faith, and the repentance of all their sins, and their faithfulness unto the end. Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day. Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and ye know the things that ye must do in my church; for the works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do; for that which ye have seen me do even that shall ye do; Therefore, if ye do these things blessed are ye, for ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
This is the basic gospel of Christ. Repent for your sins and be baptized. If you do this you will be numbered with the righteous in the end. If you do not repent and be baptized unto Christ by one have his authority you cannot be numbered as one of his sheep. The choice is yours, which will it be?

Matthew 10:7-10
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
This is our basic responsibility, to preach the gospel. We are to tell everyone that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. We are supposed not worry about how we are going to do it, we are just supposed to do it. This is more than just telling people about. This is living it too. Are you doing it?

Luke 13:23-30
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
There are going to be many disappointed people at judgment day. Christ very plainly stats that there is only one way into heaven and we must follow the strait path. There are several that think that if they stay close to the path that they will be ok, but this is not true. We need to search and find the truth in the words of Christ. We must not add or change them to suit us. For if we do all we accomplish is punish ourselves in the next life.

Ephesians 4:11-16
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
The organization of the church is very clear in this passage. Christ even gave a timeline for these positions in the Church and how we should stay on his gospel.

Ephesians 4:4-7
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”
The key with the Gospel of Christ is that you have to do it Gods way the way he set it up. We cannot add to or change his gospel. There is only one gospel of Christ and only one Church of Christ on this earth.

2nd Nephi31:15-21
And I heard a voice from the Father, saying: Yea, the words of my Beloved are true and faithful. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved. Wherefore, do the things which I have told you that I have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer should do; for, for this cause have they been shown unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost. And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witness of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive. And now, my beloved brethren, after that ye have got into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of Him who is mighty to save. Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life. And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the Kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.
There is only one way to spending eternal life with Christ in heaven. It is real simple: Faith, Repentance, and Baptism. After you complete those steps you just simply continue on your journey that you started with them. You must keep following the straight and narrow path until the end, yours or the earth’s. This is the only way.

Matthew 24:14-22
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them
that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
There is going to be great pain and suffering on this earth before the second coming of Christ. It will be so bad that God will have to shorten the days just so that some people will make it though alive. Before this happens though it says that the gospel must be “preached in all the world.” This is happing now. The Church of Christ with the Elijah Message is taking the true gospel to all the people of the world. If you want more information about that gospel please feel free to e-mail us at contact@elijahmessage.net

Alma 12:30-35
And they began from the time forth to call on his name; therefore God conversed with men, and made known unto them the plan of redemption, which had been prepared from the foundation of the world; and this he made known unto them according to their faith and repentance and their holy works. Wherefore, he gave commandments unto men, they having first transgressed the first commandments as to things which were temporal, and becoming as Gods, knowing good from evil, placing themselves in a state to act, or being placed in a state to act according to their wills and pleasures, whether to do evil or to do good—Therefore God gave unto them commandments, after having made known unto them the plan of redemption, that they should not do evil, the penalty thereof being a second death, which was an everlasting death as to things pertaining unto righteousness; for on such the plan of redemption could have no power, for the works of justice could not be destroyed, according to the supreme goodness of God. But God did call on men, in the name of his Son, (this being the plan of redemption which was laid,) saying: If ye will repent, and harden not your hearts, then I will have mercy upon you, through mine Only Begotten Son; Therefore, whosoever repenteth, and hardeneth not his heart, he shall have claim on mercy through mine Only Begotten Son, unto a remission of their sins; and these shall enter into my rest. And whosoever will harden his heart and will do iniquity, behold, I swear in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
God’s plan has been set in place since the beginning. He has shared his plan with people for years and years. Will you listen when he tells you about it?

2nd Thesalonians 2:1-7
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”
The word of God talks about how mankind would fall away from Christ’s teachings. This has happened. Now thanks to the messenger come to earth we have the true gospel of Christ back with the full authority of Christ. Will you follow the true gospel or a man made one?

Hebrews 6:1-3
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.
This is the gospel of Christ. There are not other options and alternates. If someone tells you that you need to do more than this than they are adding to Christ and are not speaking the truth. Will you do what is written or what man has created?

Message 102:18
Prove all things by the words of truth in the Bible, Record of the Nephites, and The Word of the Lord. All this is established for mankind, the guidelines of hope and deliverance. Man’s idealisms shall come to naught.
All things that we need to know are in the three books the Bible, Record of the Nephites, and The Word of the Lord. We should use these references to learn the true teachings and wishes of Christ. If an idea does not agree with these books, than that idea is not of God. This is important if we want to be counted has one of Christ’s on the last day.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The gospel of Christ is ticket into heaven. But like most tickets you have to have the right one for the show. You can’t bring any ticket and expect God to honor it; you have to bring the ticket that he made. The ticket starts with repentance and baptism. Before you can be baptized you have to repent for the sins that you have commented. This has to be your choice and not the choice of others. Will you make the choice to have to correct ticket to the gates of Heaven?

Message 46:3
To all those that repent of sins and be baptized, preparing themselves in deep humility, yea, the Lord promises that they shall receive the greater light and power that they might be able to carry on the work of the Lord.
The Lord will give us the strength we need to do his work. Don’t be afraid of the Devil. God will always be there if we keep his commandments. But in order to have that rock to stand on we must first be baptized. You can’t forget that important step.

Plain and simple what it takes to be a member of the Church of Christ. Without this step you will not be able to spend eternity with Christ.

Alma 9:27-28
And behold, he cometh to redeem those who will be baptized unto repentance, through faith on his name. Therefore, prepare ye the way of the Lord, for the time is at hand that every man shall reap a reward of their works, according to that which they have been—if they have been righteous they shall reap the salvation of their souls, according to the power and deliverance of Jesus Christ; and if they have been evil they shall.
On judgment day we will get what we deserve. God is a fair and impartial. If we have been righteous we will receive the salvation. If we have been evil, we will receive pain. Let us repent of our sins, be baptized and live righteously in the eyes of the lord.

Alma 7:9-17
But behold, the Spirit hath said this much unto me, saying: Cry unto this people, saying—Repent ye, and prepare the way of the Lord, and walk in his paths, which are straight: for behold, the kingdom of heaven is at hand, and the Son of God cometh upon the face of the earth. And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem, which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God. And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people. And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which binds his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to suffer his people according to their infirmities. Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me. Now I say unto you that ye must repent, and be born again; for the Spirit saith if ye are not born again ye cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye may be washed from your sins, that ye may have faith on the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world, which is mighty to save and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. Yea, I say unto you come and fear not, and lay aside every sin, which easily doth beset you, which doth bind you down to destruction, yea, come and go forth, and show unto your God that ye are willing to repent of your sins and enter into a covenant with him to keep his commandments, and witness it unto him this day by going into the waters of baptism. And whosoever doeth this, and keepeth the commandments of God from henceforth, the same will remember that I say unto him, yea, he will remember that I have said unto him, he shall have eternal life, according to the testimony of the Holy Spirit, which testifieth in me.
In order to enjoy eternail life with God we must follow the gospel of Christ. This includes repenting for your sins and being baptized. Repentance is important and has to be done before baptism. We all have done wrong in our life so we must all repent of our sins. Christ came on this earth for the purpose of saving our souls. Let us follow his plan for this salvation, not our own.

Message 63:7
I come that this work might be. That the gospel may be fully established and the plan of God be carried to the ends of the earth. That salvation may come to all who will hear the Christ in his plea that whosoever will may come, for it is his words that shall judge all men at the last day.
The Lord is sending John to earth to instruct us on our missing of spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth. This is our primary responsibility in our work for the Lord. In order for people to hear the gospel we must take it to them.

2 Thessalonians 2:2-4
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. God told us that there was going to be a time when the people of this earth would fall away from the truth. This has happened already. When the angel came to Joseph Smith and restored the true gospel back on earth this was completed. Up to that point and time, the truth was lost to mankind. Now with the messenger coming back we are able keep the truth alive. Will you follow the truth?

Message 18:5
Take the message as I told you, from house to house; many will be glad to heed it. Preach repentance and faith, for all must have faith in God and his work. All must repent and be baptized for the remission of sin, the hands must be laid upon all, that the Spirit of God might come to the children of men in greater power, and it will to those that are humble and full of love and have great faith in God.
Everyone needs to hear this message about baptism. No one is above the plan of God. Ask yourself if you truly are following his plan and doing his will.

Romans 3:22-26
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
No one is above the need for baptism. We all must go under the water to wash away our sins. Baptism is also something that we need to do ourselves and not something that others can decide for us. We have to have that walk with God, not our parents or friends, but each of us personally.
