Matthew 1:18-25
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
God picked people who loved him to carry out his plan. Joseph and Mary loved the Lord very much. Joseph still married Mary even though she was pregnant because God told him to. God uses people in different ways to make it possible to for people to meet Christ. Joseph did his part in helping, how are you going to allow God to use you?

Mosiah 15:1-9
And now Abinadi saith unto them: I would that ye should understand that God himself shall come down among the children of men, and shall redeem his people. And because he dwelleth in flesh he shall be called the Son of God, and having subjected the flesh to the will of the Father, being the Father and the Son— The Father, because he was conceived by the power of God; and the Son, because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and Son— And they are one God, yea, the very Eternal Father of Heaven and of Earth. And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, suffereth temptation, and yieldeth not to the temptation, but suffereth himself to be mocked, and scourged, and cast out, and disowned by his people. And after all this, and after working many mighty miracles among the children of men, he shall be led, yea, even as Isaiah said, as a sheep before the shearer is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. Yea, even so he shall be led, crucified, and slain, the flesh becoming subject even unto death, the will of the Son being swallowed up in the will of the Father. And thus God breaketh the bands of death, having gained the victory over death; giving the Son power to make intercession for the children of men— Having ascended into heaven, having the bowels of mercy; being filled with compassion toward the children of men; standing betwixt them and justice; having broken the bands of death, taken upon himself their iniquity and their transgressions, having redeemed them, and satisfied the demands of justice.
Christ is our Lord God. He and the Father are one. He came to earth for our salvation. The question today is do you believe in him, or the traditions of man?

1 Peter 4:7-11
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
We never know when the end might come, so we must act accordingly all the time. This means that we must have the love of Christ in us and we must give it out through our actions. Only the love of Christ will save us and will allow us to make it through this life. We must serve God by loving all of mankind.

Mark 12:12
And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
Just like the days of old, there will be a time that people fear the workers of Christ. Now people persecute the ones who are working for Christ. Those people who are persecuting Christ’s workers will get their reward, and it will not be pleasant. Let us be comforted in the fact that Christ will always be with us and will get the last word.

Colossians 2:6-9
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Paul warned us about the philosophy and the traditions of man. Mankind wants to make things more complicated than it really is. Christ is the head of the Church and if we follow him we will be saved. If we start adding in other requirements, or taking away Christ teachings, we will not be with him in the last days. I hope you stay with Christ.

2nd Nephi 30:7-10
And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people. And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth. And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.
There will be a day when the nonbelievers in Christ will be destroyed. I hope that you are not a part of this group. Christ in now calling all people to him. He is restoring his people on the earth. Will you join him?

Matthew 19:4-6
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
The unity of two people in marriage is a powerful thing. The two become one. God blesses those who keep him in their marriage. Our marriages between people on earth are symbolic of the one between Christ and his church. Will you be ready for the wedding?

Titus 2:11-15
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Christ came for our salvation. He came that we might follow his footsteps in our lives. We need to put the things of the world behind us and try to follow Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
Our salvation through Christ gives us the gift of eternal life with Christ. This salvation is the best gift that we can receive. There is no greater sign of love than when Christ gave himself up for us. Because of this love let us do our best to return it by serving him and following his commandments. If we do that we will be able to live together forever.

Message 21:11
I am instructed of the Lord to instruct you in all things, that the Church will be established in its fullness, that the gospel will be preached to all nations and people. The Lord will lead and direct his people, those that will be humble and full of love and will be led.
Christ’s salvation is for all people. There is not a single person on earth that Christ will not save if that person follows Christ’s commandments. Let us take this great message about Christ’s birth and salvation to all of the people of this world.

Acts 4:8-12
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Not only is our Christ our savior and redeemer, but he is also the head of the Church. There is only one way to salvation and that is though Christ and his teachings. These teachings can only be found in one place on earth and that is in his Church. Christ is the head of the Church and it follows his teachings and directions.

John 3:10-21
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Christ came to earth for our salvation. He did not come for his own glory. He came to save the world, not condemn it. His message is one of peace and salvation. Those that listen to it will receive blessing and happiness that is unimaginable to us humans

To fulfill the promises that God made Christ had to become human. In today’s verses Joseph is told about this miracle in a dream. As an obedient servant of God he does what he is told. He takes Mary as his wife and when the baby is born it’s named Jesus. Let us all strive to be as obedient at Joseph in our lives.

Luke 1:31-33
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
As we start to get closer and closer the Christmas day let us start remembering the true reason that we celebrate Christmas. It is not for the gifts or the toys, but to celebrate the birth of our King. This King does not rule over an earthly kingdom, but a heavenly one. This king is not cruel to his people but always loving. Most importantly this king will rule forever with love and peace.

1 Peter 2:1-6
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Christ is the corner stone of the church. Everything the church stands for comes from Christ. If you are told something that goes against the teachings of Christ then it is not part of his church. We have to stay on that stone for it is solid and unchangeable.

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Christ is the reason that we all have salvation. Every person on earth has the chance if he or she chooses so. We can be very thankful for this gift that released us from the curse of the law. With Christ all can be forgiven and all can be saved.

John 14:5-15
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
We must know Christ to know God. If we know Christ, then we also know God. Don’t get caught up in the ways of man and miss what is important. Christ is our salvation and way to God, nothing else.

Mormon 9:11-12
But behold, I will show unto you a God of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and it is that same God which created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them is. Behold, he created Adam, and by Adam came the fall of man. And because of the fall of man came Jesus Christ, even the Father and the Son; and because of Jesus Christ came the redemption of man.
Christ made it possible for us to be with God. Christ provided a way for us to wash ourselves from our sins that we have committed. Only through him are we able to live forever with our Lord in heaven.

Romans 8:7-11
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Christ is what gives us life. Man will only lead to destruction. When you follow Christ and allow him to enter into your heart you will be clean and full of life. If you don’t have Christ you will be lonely and dead. Which will you chose?
